Courses and Lessons
Ital Lab offers courses and lessons from A1 to C1 level, according to CEFR*. Each lesson is approximately 60 minutes.
* It is a guideline used to describe achievements of learners of foreign languages across Europe and in other countries.
One-to-one lessons
Students can choose between 4 different packages of lessons (5, 10, 20, 30). The teaching is focused on what students want to learn. The teaching material is adapted to students’ skills and interests. Timetables and numbers of lessons per week must be scheduled.

Classes for small groups
These courses are for groups from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 5 people and they are an opportunity for those who want to study the language with a few other students in order to create a relationship, not only with the teacher, but also with other classmates, creating a conversation that will be very useful for their learning. Courses are by Skype video-conference (timetables are planned together by teachers and students).
IMPORTANT: Ital Lab organises group courses only for a minimum number of 3 registered students. Ital Lab will communicate the starting date and the payment methods for the courses only when this minimum number is confirmed.

They can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. They can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. | 45 | 10 weeks | 350 € | Programme |
| B2 | Students can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialisation. They can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. They can produce clear, detailed texts on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options. | 45 | 10 weeks | 350 € | Programme |
| C1 | Students can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning. They can express themselves fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. They can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. They can produce clear, well-structured, detailed texts on complex subjects, showing a controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices. | 30 | 10 weeks | 250 € | Programme |
Individual courses
These courses are for students who want to study individually with native speakers, choosing the lesson time that suits them. Individual courses are focused on the interests, needs, goals and skills of each student and are available from B2 level.
Ital Lab offers 3 different packages of courses from A1 to B2 level:
- espresso, fast and intensive course (30 lessons in total, 6 per week)
- classico, standard course (45 lessons in total, 6 per week)
- intensivo, full immersion course (45 lessons in total, 12 per week)

On request we offer:
a) Preparatory lessons for the PLIDA, CILS and CELI exams.
b) Lessons of sector-specific, specialized language: for everybody who needs, for work or study reasons, to learn or study Italian in depth in a specific sector, such as business, fashion, music. Teaching is focused more on vocabulary than on morphology and syntax. Specific glossaries are used to widen the vocabulary of the student. Here some examples of courses:

A preliminary test to evaluate the competence in the Italian language is proposed to people who decide to buy a package of lessons or to enrol in a course. Test will be sent by e-mail after subscribing to a package and corrected by the Ital Lab‘s staff. This will enable the students and the teachers to collaborate in choosing a suitable level.
Every student will receive a certificate at the end of the course.
